Ringed Brown Snake
It has widely spaced narrow bands along its body. Between its bands its scales are pale grey to rich reddish brown. It has a black patch on the top of its head and a broad black band across its neck. Pattern may be obscure to almost non-existent on large specimens. They live in virtually all habitats except black soil plains. They mainly feed on skinks. When it is threatened it rears its body in an 'S' shape.
Not dangerously venomous.
