Desert Banded Snake
The Desert Banded Snake has 20-40 prominent black rings from the neck and the tip of the tail. Their head is a glossy black colour with a white line at the nostrils. Other than the band colour they are a yellowish to a light red. They live in sandy spinifex deserts in South Australia’s north-west corner. They grow to about 2.1 meters in length.
Not dangerously venomous
