Gwardar
The Gwardars patterns are variable from where it comes from. It has a large band rostral scale and they have about 17 midbody scales. Its mouth lining is black. It can be dark brown to a rich red brown or sometimes bright orange. It has many other colours though many very intricate. They become paler in summer and darker in winter. It lives in almost every arid area. They also live in spinifex deserts tropical woodlands and many southern mallee woodlands. Its diet mainly consists to small mammals, lizards and sometimes on occasion other snakes. When threatened they will coil into a S shape and raise their fore bodies.
