Common Death Adder
It is a fleshy snake with smooth head scales. The main colour pattern of this snake is reddish-brown to a greyish colour. They have bands from the neck to the tail. The length between the bands is irregular. They have dark or pale band on their lips. They mainly live in heaths and shrub lands. Their population is declining manly because of habitat destruction. Their fangs are long and can inject a victim with lots of venom.
