Mitchell’s Short-tailed Snake
The Mitchell’s Short-tailed snake is very robust and has a black head blotch untouched from nose the neck. They have a predominant spinal stripe going to the tail tip. Their latitude scales are a red brown to a purplish brown. The lips are a pale orange to a white colour. They live across southern Australia. They like to live in granite areas. Their prey consists of skinks and other small venomous snakes (including their own kind). Blind snakes have also been noted as prey. They grow to about 59 centimetres.
